This historic hotel, a historic structure built in 1573, is located in the heart of Buxton, with all the popular tourist attractions just outside the door. The nearest shops can be reached within about 5 minutes' walk. Manchester - International (MAN) Airport, located about 25 miles away, is within easy reach. It is about 50 miles and 50 miles to East Midlands (EMA) Airport and Liverpool (LPL) Airport, respectively.


Facilities
Apartments, 2 single rooms and 37 double rooms are located on 3 stories and can be reached by elevator. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the 24-hour reception desk. Services and facilities include a safe, a TV room, a conference room and a theater hall. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the parking lot. Guests can also use the bicycle storage facilities.


Rooms
The rooms of the hotel include air conditioning and central heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer.
